Taking time to save lives

7/24/2012

Every 60 seconds, malaria claims another innocent life in Africa. Malaria is responsible for 655,000 deaths each year, and most of these are children.

However, malaria is a preventable, treatable and beatable disease.

With your help, The United Methodist Church, through the Imagine No Malaria campaign, is empowering the people of Africa to overcome malaria with prevention, treatment, communication and education.

Encourage your congregation to support this life-saving ministry.

Contact Imagine No Malaria field coordinator Ashley Gish. She is available to help create a successful, memorable and impactful experience for your congregation. Whether it’s providing resources like videos and bulletin inserts to having a speaker come and talk about Imagine No Malaria, she can help.

“God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine!” (Ephesians 3:20), and together we can “imagine no malaria!”
