The General Conference of The United Methodist Church enacted more than 50 changes in the Book of Discipline relating to church membership in 2004. A dozen of those changes, significantly change the way United Methodists look at membership and maintain records.
The Membership Records Manual is designed to help you to understand these changes and the new terminology related to membership in brief, accessible ways. The manual contains sample pages with all of the membership forms along with guidance for their use.
