Young Adults

United Methodists are beginning the work of reaching out to young adults through television and radio advertising, congregational outreach and campus ministries across the country.

United Methodists in Kansas are active in campus ministry at the seven state regents' schools and have close ties to three colleges or universities--Baker University, Kansas Wesleyan University and Southwestern College. Check out these helpful links:

Young Adult Ministry Programming Grants
The Young Adult Ministry Team of the Kansas East Conference offers grants to provide opportunities for young adults to grow, foster, and develop ministries and programs within the Kansas East Conference. These grants are intended to be used as a source for beginning ministry within the local church.  Download and print the Young Adult Ministry Program Grant Application.

A new effort from the General Board of Discipleship focuses on ministries with young people. The creation of the new Division on Ministries with Young People will create a network of resources for local congregations to continue their work in sharing Jesus' love with the next generation.
