Sonflower Emmaus of Kansas
The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all."  The Walk to Emmaus is a ministry unit of the General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church.  To learn more, visit The Upper Room web site.

Cultivating Adult Faith in Practice

Carol Krau, director of adult formation and discipleship at the General Board of Discipleship, has started a weekly e-mail and Twitter tip for adult class and small group leaders. Krau will share a short fact about adult learning, adult spirituality or other areas related to helping adults grow in their faith. The short fact will be followed by one idea for using the information in a class or group.

Follow Carol's updates at @adultformation on Twitter. Accounts are free! Sign up at www.twitter.com, or e-mail Krau at ckrau@gbod.org to sign up by e-mail.
